Tips & Advice
CRED values product thinking - be ready to discuss why you made certain choices, not just how. Culture fit round is important. Show enthusiasm for building consumer products. Interviewers were super chill.
SDE (Android)
Interview Rounds
Develop a proof-of-concept for animation-heavy features using Android native. Implement Clean Architecture principles. Include API call handling and view persistence.
Medium-level DSA problems. Code written in Google Docs, not IDE. Focus on approach and solution explanation.
Android lifecycle questions. Clean Architecture deep-dive. High-level design for an app with follow-up complexity questions. Conversational format.
Led by Head of Engineering Mobile. Mobile system design: build an Analytics SDK. Self-awareness and career goal alignment. Cultural fit assessment.
Tips & Advice
All rounds test development skills rather than just grilling on DSA. Two interviewers in each round, emphasizing discussion over Q&A. Got confirmation from HR the same day as final round.
