Backend Engineer – GenAI Platform

We are looking for a Backend / Platform Engineer to join our team building next-generation AI and Agentic platforms powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), distributed systems, and scalable microservices architecture.

In this role, you will work on building backend services, APIs, workflow orchestration systems, and AI platform components that integrate LLMs, retrieval systems, and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js / TypeScript

• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems

• Develop APIs and workflow orchestration services

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI and build RAG pipelines

• Work with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search systems

• Build AI agent workflows and tool-calling systems

• Collaborate with data, AI, and platform teams to build scalable AI platforms

• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure secure coding, scalability, and reliability of systems

Required Skills

• Strong experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js / TypeScript

• Experience building microservices, APIs, and distributed systems

• Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI APIs, Generative AI, or RAG pipelines

• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks

• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus, or ElasticSearch vector search

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD

• Strong system design and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with workflow orchestration and event-driven architectures
