About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend-Focused Full Stack Developer with 1–3 years of experience

to join our growing engineering team. This role emphasizes backend development, system

design, and API development, while also requiring a working knowledge of frontend

technologies.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently building and maintaining backend

services, optimizing performance, and contributing to scalable product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python (Django / Flask / FastAPI)
• Build and manage RESTful APIs with proper versioning, validation, and documentation
• Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions for performance and reliability
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, role-based access)
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experience
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry standards
• Debug production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
• Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, and logging processes

Required Skills & Knowledge

Backend (Core Focus)

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Django / Flask / FastAPI
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Knowledge of ORMs, query optimization, and indexing
• Understanding of asynchronous programming (basic level preferred)
• Familiarity with authentication systems (JWT, OAuth) System Design & Tools
• Good understanding of application architecture and scalable systems
• Experience with Git / GitHub workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews)
• Familiarity with Docker and basic deployment processes
• Experience using API testing tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI) Frontend (Supporting Skills)
• Working knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Ability to integrate backend APIs with frontend components

Good to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis)
• Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
