Lead Software Engineer (Node JS Backend)

NOTE: This is a Backend Lead developer role, apply only if you have 8- 10 years of experience with Leading a team of 3-5 subordinates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable microservices using Node.js and Kubernetes.

• Design database schemas and manage data using Postgres, Redis, oracle db.

• Integrate Kafka to enable real-time event streaming and communication.

• Write clean, maintainable code and ensure high performance of the backend

services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on business and technical

goals.

• Implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and

scalability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js and microservice architecture.

• Expertise in Postgres, Redis, Oracle DB for schema design and query optimization.

• Proficiency with Kafka, Kinesis for real-time messaging and event-driven systems.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or CloudWatch.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good to Have - Working experience with AI.

• Good to Have - Expertise in APIGEE, APIM, AZURE cloud basics .

• Good to Have - React native
