About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Product Manager / Senior Product Manager to join our Paytm Insurance team. The ideal candidate comes with prior experience in Insurtech or Fintech, and has worked extensively on partner API integrations, backend and frontend product development, and has a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive product initiatives across the Paytm Insurance ecosystem, covering web, app, and APIs.
• Collaborate with external partners to integrate their APIs and ensure smooth onboarding and product flows.
• Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly insurance products.
• Define product requirements, write clear PRDs, and drive execution through agile processes.
• Track product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead feature enhancements based on data and customer feedback.
• Ensure seamless coordination between backend and frontend development streams.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management, preferably in Insurtech, Fintech, or other digital financial products.
• Hands-on experience with partner API integrations; familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and API documentation.
• Exposure to both Backend and Frontend product development.
• Proficiency in using Product Management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.
• Good analytical mindset with working knowledge of analytics tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar.
• Basic understanding of SQL is a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and deliver results.
