TechOps Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary
Paytm is looking for a dynamic TechOps Engineer to support its telecom and VAS platforms. The role involves real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support for services like USSD, IVR, SIP, and CRBT, ensuring seamless service delivery to telecom partners and end users.
Key Responsibilities
● Monitor and manage Paytm telecom platforms including USSD, IVR, SIP, and CRBT services
● Perform L1 troubleshooting for platform, network, and service-related issues
● Handle alerts, alarms, and incident tickets within defined SLAs
● Coordinate with internal teams (Platform, Network, Deployment) and external operators for issue resolution
● Support daily operations, health checks, and service availability monitoring
● Analyze logs and provide initial RCA for incidents and recurring issues
● Assist in deployment activities, configurations, and change management
● Ensure proper communication and escalation in case of service impact
● Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational reports Required Skills:
● Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix (basic commands, troubleshooting, logs analysis)
● Basic understanding of SIP protocol, call flows, and telecom services.
● Exposure to USSD and IVR platforms in telecom/VAS environment
● Knowledge of CRBT systems and integrations with operators
● Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, latency, routing basics)
● Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (Jira, Remedy,EGL,Grafana,Prometheus )

● Good communication skills for cross-team and operator coordination
● Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment
● Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
Education
● B.Tech / B.E / MCA
