Engagement Manager, CPG and Manufacturing – Business Consulting & Solutions Group (BC&S, India)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive execution of thebusiness–analytics roadmapfor key CPG / Consumer clients by demonstrating strong techno-functional consulting and stakeholder management, in close collaboration with data science and engineering teams.

  • Leadclient workshopswhere broad vision and ambiguous business problems are translated into concrete data, analytics, and AI use cases.

  • Define business problems concisely, synthesize findings, hypothesize solution options, andmeasure and articulatehow solutions improve client objectives (revenue, cost, working capital, service, risk).

  • Independently liaise with senior client stakeholders (including CxO / functional leaders), convincingly present solution approaches, and constructively question or challenge the client where required.

  • Lead solutioning and presales for your accounts shaping problem statements, approaches, SoWs, proposals, and demo storylines.

  • Perform a role that combineshands-on contribution, client engagement, and team managementacross multiple parallel initiatives.

  • Manage cross-functional teams (DE, DS, BI) for high-quality delivery: planning sprints, tracking progress, and proactively managing risks and dependencies.

  • Contribute to organization-building throughtraining, mentoring, and developing reusable consulting and analytic frameworksthat can be scaled across clients.

Mandated Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BE / BTech – preferably in Engineering / CS / related quantitative disciplines) from Tier I / II universities (e.g., IITs / NITs);MBA from top-tier B-schools (IIMs or equivalent) preferred.
  • 8+ years of business / management consulting experience, with significant exposure to prominentCPG and/or Lifesciencesdomains such as Consumer Behaviour, Demand Planning, Pricing & Revenue Management, Supply / Logistics Analytics, Customer Service, or Commercial Excellence.
  • Provenexceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to blend creativity and structured logic to think through complex problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Ability todevelop and articulate strategic recommendationsbased on rigorous data analysis and clear linkage to business value.
  • Demonstrated experience instrategy and business/technology consulting roles, conversant with:
    • Process improvement and operating model design
    • Cost optimization and productivity programs
    • Customer analytics and experience management
    • Architecture / capability assessments and roadmap definition

  • Prior experience in aconsulting / analytics firm, Big-4, or digital practiceis strongly preferred

Desired Profile:

  • Applicants with exposure in CPG industry either directly working within business, or consulting will be preferred
  • Understanding of applications of statistical and machine learning algorithms
  • Any hands on experience with analytical tools

Applicants having active B1/B2 (US Visa) will be a plus.
