AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote)

Experience: 8+ Years Work Mode: Remote Engagement: Full-time / Freelancer Dual Project: Acceptable Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer II with strong hands-on system engineering expertise in AWS production environments. Key Responsibilities and Skills: Hands-on experience in AWS system engineering with a strong focus on Amazon RDS, including performance tuning, backups, restores, Multi-AZ configurations, and read replicas Strong experience in application troubleshooting across AWS services including EC2, ALB, VPC, and IAM Expertise in log analysis and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues, latency problems, and service dependencies Experience in end-to-end root cause analysis and production issue resolution Strong understanding of AWS networking and security best practices Ability to work independently in a remote setup and handle production-level issues Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-availability and production-critical environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
