Job Summary

Engineers and enhances software applications to meet user needs. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions. Ensures software quality through rigorous testing and debugging.

Key Areas of Accountability

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Build RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for seamless integration with front-end systems and third-party services.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform.

• Develop and execute API automation frameworks using Java and JMX

• Ability to communicate effectively with team, product Managers and other stakeholders

Job Requirements and Competencies

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in backend application development.

• Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS (PostgreSQL), CloudWatch.

• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and deploying workloads on AWS ECS.

• Proficiency in database design, optimization, and management with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.

• Strong understanding of best practices for security, scalability, and performance in cloud environments.

• Advanced knowledge of clean architecture and design patterns to ensure robust, maintainable systems
