We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience designing and operating production-grade backend services in cloud-native environments

In this role, you will work within an agile engineering team responsible for building backend systems, integrating cloud infrastructure, and supporting high-performance applications deployed in modern cloud environments.

This opportunity is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with Python, cloud-native architectures, and containerized deployments, while contributing to reliable and scalable backend platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build and maintain cloud-native solutions deployed on AWS or Azure.
• Develop and deploy workloads using containerized environments (Kubernetes / K8s).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Write unit and integration tests following test-driven development practices.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and platform teams in Agile environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of deployed services.
• Support integration workflows and data pipelines across digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong programming experience with Python.
• Proven experience designing and operating production-grade backend APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience deploying systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Experience working with distributed systems and scalable architectures.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or other cloud ecosystems.
• Experience working with ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience building applications in Agile or Lean startup environments.
