Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-based architecture and microservices development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AWS cloud services, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed system design, along with a strong understanding of scalable and high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS platform.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka.
• Optimize database performance and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Integrate caching solutions using Redis / ElasticCache.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Ensure high code quality using TDD, Unit Testing, and Code Reviews.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI.
• Monitor application performance using Datadog and other observability tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in scalable backend architecture.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Good knowledge of AWS services:
• EC2
• RDS
• ElasticCache
• EKS
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with TDD and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with:
• JUnit
• Mockito
• Spring Boot Test
• Experience with Datadog monitoring tools.
• API design and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale distributed systems.
